FROM THE PUBLISHER Dr. Charles Njoku. CEO Chioma Entertainment Group
The idea of a publication has been in me since my early years, because of my belief in information. A well informed person is a rich and better prepared individual. The concept of this magazine was born out of the desire to develop a product that is informative, that will educate, and provide an affordable media for individual entertainers to expose themselves, and that includes artists in our own record label – CHIOMA RECORDS. We want to create a magazine that will inform us of entertainment venues, the times and dates of shows of the subscribing clubs, hotels, restaurants, concert halls, etc. We want to make this a regional magazine but the request and establishment of distribution points in faraway places like Philadelphia, New York, Baltimore, Washington, Memphis, Dallas, Houston, Miami and the many other cities to follow made it possible to open it up to artists and places of entertainment in the whole USA and the world.
The medical section dealing with beauty enhancement and the part on preventative health on issues that afflict entertainers are very dear to my heart.
This magazine will know no racial or regional boundaries as we will strive to open up and reach many. We are not a Hip Hop, Rock, Latin or Reggae magazine. We will represent music and entertainment beyond all borders.
Finally, as an entertainment magazine, we will strive to entertain, too. Our beauty and model section we hope will appease some willing eyes and minds and hopefully will kill some boredom. We also hope these young talents will have the opportunity to be discovered.
Mission Statement To produce a monthly magazine focusing on live entertainment, on new artist exposure, on education of the business side of music, and on health issues related to entertainers and entertainment.
Our goal is to reach from 5,000 to 500,000 fun lovers of all age groups, to reach a vast array of people from all walks of life, crossing all borders and all boundaries.
We also aspire to create opportunities and help others.
